We arrived in Chertsey on Monday 9th November.
Peter and Jan (mother and father of the bride were already there with their motor caravan).
On Tuesday morning I took Peter and Jan to pick up their hire car from a company nearby
so then they had wheels to get them around

| | Peter looking for camping kit in the cavernous cubbyhole of the motor caravan. | Oh! It’s not camping kit it’s a wrapped Christmas present! | |

| | Sue and I did a long geocaching circuit of about 17 caches. This is a photo of the countryside we were passing through. I didn’t get a shot of the muddy farm yard – 6 inches of almost impenetrable mud. Sue wasn’t happy. | | We had been invited on the Tuesday evening to Maggie and Andy’s to see their apartment and for an evening meal. The apartment was straight out of House and Gardens and the meal was lovely. Thank You. |

| | On the Thursday afternoon we went to Mercedes World at Brooklands followed by a very pleasant evening meal at Sue’s sister’s and brother in law. Again many thanks. Below a Mercedes concept car. | | |

| | Stuart having a go on the racing simulator. It was great fun, but I do need more practise. | | |

| | A full size dissected Formula 1 car. Very impressive. | | |

| | Same again from the front | | |

| | Peter before leaving for the wedding in Sunningdale | Our transport to the church | |

| | Anu and Lydia - unfortunately the weather was poor so the bride and groom walked up and down the aisle a couple of times for photos to be taken. |
| Bridesmaids Cerian and Jessica |

| | Peter talking very animatedly to Deepika, mother of the groom | | |

| | Cerian and daughter Bea | Bride and Groom | |

| | Peter with grandson Hamish | The return bus ride – had the weather been clearer you would have been able to see the Welsh flag atop Great Fosters | |

| | At the reception – a rare photo of us together | | |

| | I muscled in on the official photo taking. | | |

| | | Despite the weather this was a great day. Everything went according to plan (we didn’t spot any hiccups??) and a good time was had by all. | |
