A New Year and a new blog. The background for this blog is a quilt which we saw in Somerset last year.
The content space has become larger so the photos will be a little larger. I doubt whether the amount of written content will be greater.
If you’re like me I like looking at the photos and glancing through the text, plus I am not a natural writer as you might have guessed.
The Chinook helicopter did a fly by whilst out geocaching between Blandford and Salisbury – it only just cleared the top of the hill.
There has been some lovely weather during January and we have tried to make the most of it.
These photos are taken close to Smugglers Walk car park, near Ringwood.
Another day on the beach at Bournemouth. The tower is the start for the new zip wire.
Their advertising ‘The PIERZIP Line is the FIRST Pier to shore Zip Wire experience in the world with a launch tower towering above the sea, giving an exhilarating “zip surf” over the waves to the beach. It’s a dual line so you can “fly” with friends or family or dare we suggest “race” them to the beach?Book your flights now and breathe in the pure sea breeze while you fly straight to the shore. Is it high? Yes, it is. Is it fast? Indeed, it is. Can you do it? Of course you can! Can you fly with a friend – yes you can!’

Surprise Surprise! - Carol’s 70th birthday party on the south coast!
When she set off in the morning at 9 o’clock she didn't know where she was going or what she would be doing.
Jane and Ron hosted the party Colin and Trish and ourselves made up the guest list
David (the surprise organiser) Jane and Colin Ron doing what he does well
On the following day we met up with David and Carol to do some geocaching in the New Forest near Brockenhurst.
We saw plenty of deer and when all together there were about 50 of them.
Near the bottom of this blog you can enter your email address so that when a new blog is published you should get an automatic email.
That’s the theory we’ll see if it works in the future. I’ll still send out emails.
