| On our return we anchored off Orak Adasi for the second time, but in a slightly different position. We had difficulty getting the anchor into the sandy bottom, but we got there in the end. This is a very popular remote anchorage so some enterprising person comes around selling Walls ice cream to the boats. | | |

| Our afternoon break between Bodrum and Turgutreis – fun on an inflatable. The local lilo sellers must have done well that day because the strong offshore wind was blowing lilos out to sea (without their owners). | | |

| En-route to the dolmus (taxi) bus to take us to Bodrum | Café in Bodrum – the varieties of coffees looked good here – guess what they weren’t available | |

| Bodrum Castle – was built from 1402 onwards by the Knights of St. John as the castle of St. Peter | | Oleander (poison) tree – in ancient times it was used as an antidote to snake venom. |

| I always wondered why amphora had pointed bases – this photo shows why. | | |
